Qualifications of Bishops (Overseers)
"This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work. 2) A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach; 3) not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous; 4) one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence 5) (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?); 6) not a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil. 7) Moreover he must have a good testimony among those who are outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil" (1 Timothy 3:1-7).

Bishop Keith Kenney has been saved and filled with Holy Spirit for 40+ years. God has given him the desire and anointing to be promoted to the next level of demand, which is to be a Bishop. He has served well, is blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, a good teacher of the Word of God, does not drink any wine, not violent, not greedy for money but a giver. Bishop Kenney is gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous, rules his house extremely well, not a novice in the Word, not puffed up with pride, and has a good testimony among those who are outside. He is an anointed, seasoned, prophet, and powerful man of God who is a prayer warrior and knows how to hear and receive an answer from God. Based on the Word of God, Bishop Kenney definitely meets the qualifications to be the Bishop of Tabernacle of Life Ministries, Inc., which he birthed. He is a true visionary who knows how to allow God to use him to bring the vision to fruition. He is a dedicated leader who has followed in order to lead.
Bishop Kenney was raised in the church and has held several positions that have prepared him to be the anointed Senior Pastor and man of God he is today. God has used life challenges to push him into his destiny to preach and teach the gospel, as well as given him favor in the eyes of apostles, bishops, and pastors. Bishop Kenney has served over the last 18 years as an Apostle’s Adjacent, Bishop’s Adjacent, and Pastor’s Adjacent—which has prepared him for the call to lead God’s people. In addition, he has served as a Sunday school teacher, deacon, trustees’ board member, security team member, and the President of the Radio and Media Ministry. He has received a credited Teacher’s Training Certificate from Morning Star Full Gospel Assembly Christian Education Institute that has prepared him to teach and preach the gospel under the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Bishop Kenney has been married to his wife, Pastor Dr. Julwel Kenney, for 33+ years. Pastor Dr. Kenney states “he is a man after God’s own heart and has a heart for the people of God”.
His favorite scripture is Psalms 91: 1-2 “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust” (KJV).

Pastor Dr. Julwel Kenney has been saved and filled with Holy Spirit for over 40+ years. She is an ordained Pastor and an anointed praise and worship leader who believes in giving God all the glory according to Psalms 150: 6 “Let everything that has breath praise the LORD”. She is a self-motivated, energetic, hardworking, ambitious, enthusiastic, goal and result-oriented skilled leader who always strives for excellence. She is dedicated to whatever she puts her mind to achieve—spiritually, personally, and professionally.
Pastor Dr. Kenney was raised in the church and has overcome many of life challenges by depending and trusting in God. As a result, she is able to relate to many individuals, especially women, who are struggling with so many personal issues, including self-esteem and self-confidence. God has called and anointed her to minister to many hurting women to let them know it’s their time to arise and be lifted above their circumstances in order to achieve their destiny, and be women of excellence. She loves encouraging, enriching, and empowering individuals to build a relationship with God so that they can achieve the greatness God has put in them in order to be all they can be for God’s glory.
Over the years, she has ministered to many pastors, bishops, apostles, executives, and others in leadership positions to encourage them to succeed, handle difficult situations, and depend on God for direction. She has held many leadership positions within churches and corporate organizations. She has facilitated Leadership Transformation Workshops to help people develop into assets not liabilities. Today, God has created opportunities for her to cross cultural barriers and minister. Pastor Dr. Kenney ministers to single individuals and married couples from many different nationalities and guide them in their personal and professional transformation process through the Word of God so that they can stay focus and soar high as an eagle into their God-given destinies.
She has over 25+ years of secular and church leadership experiences and believes in leading by example. In addition, God has blessed Pastor Dr. Kenney to be a leadership professional, keynote motivational speaker, college professor, and life and business coach. Also, she is the CEO of JK Personal and Professional Development Consulting Company with an earned strong educational background that has culminated in a Ph.D in Organizational Behavior, Ph.D. in Training and Performance Improvement, MS in Organizational Leadership, MBA in Human Resources Management, and BS in Organizational Management to complement her leadership and personal development experiences. In addition, Dr. Kenney is a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Certified DISC Behaviour Coach (CDC), and Certified Executive Coach (CEC).

Her favorite scriptures are 1 Corinthians 15:58 - “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” and Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me”.
